It is not often that I admit to being fed up, but I am FED UP. It is about 6 weeks since my asthma kicked in. It is certainly the worst and most prolonged incidence I have had. Been back and forth to the Dr the hospital twice and thought I was on the mend. Then what happens I get a b***** cold. Now usually any asthma I get starts with a cold and the Dr kept asking have you had cold. No. Well now I have and I am not a pretty sight. Red nose, sore and cracked lips. You get the picture. What is it about colds that make us miserable? The person who finds a cure will make billions. Of course I can't take any of the cold/flu medicines which are on the market because of other problems so have to suffer through all the symptoms. Moan, moan, whinge, whinge. It has now dropped to the chest - need I say more.
Should have been at work yesterday and today but no. Not going into school. The ch is always cranked right up and all those children. No.
I am hiding away from everyone. now I am not looking for sympathy after all it is only a cold, just wanted to rant. So just ignore me. There are so many people who have real problems who never say a word and here I am going on about a cold.

I hope you soon feel better colds are rotten.Colds make me feel evil. There are a lot of these colds about here, people not being able to shake them off. Hope the asthma is improving.
I think colds make us miserable because we think we should carry on as normal and can't.Then we feel guilty and don't look after ourselves --just my thoughts.
Loved Patch's blog. Such a lovely talented dog . Not like some I could name. xxx
Hi Marian, you need some good hot chicken soup! Wish I was closer I would bring you some. I hope you are better soon, Barb from oceanwavesquilts.
I am getting more and more concerned that you haven't posted for a while. Love Ruth
Not going to ignore you Marian as I know how that reocurring asthma can be....once it sets in, it can be difficult to get rid of....please take care of yourself and please stay home to be fully well; because not taking good care could be really detrimental! I don't mean to scare you. So here's hoping you feel better soon! That quilt is beyond beautiful!!! What wonderful work...sooooo nice! Does that mean the group is still collecting heart blocks of all colors? or yellow and blue! You are a super lady.....like being in the CRAFT group!
hugz
