Tidy at last

The before pictures did not do the mess justice, so much had spilt onto the floor, lots and lots of things just stuffed inthere. Now I have been inevery draw, every box, every folder and sorted everything out.

Well it has taken 3 days altogether but am very pleased with the results. at least I can find everything. Some things I had even forgotten that I had in there.

yahoo messenger

Just been introduced to yahoo messenger. It is good fun. Really enjoyed talking to friends from the group. It brings the world closer. Technology is a wonderful thing. Who would have imagined when growing up that such wonders would be possible.

It was interesting today but did not get a lot done. Still lots to do for homework. The Baltimore quilt will I am sure look great when we have finished it. I have chosen a nontraditional background as I like to be different. and I want to use my stash for the applique.

store room

Spent about 6 hours in the store room yesterday and don't seem to have made a dent. Started again today and am beginning to see where I have been. By the end of today the back will be broken and I shall be able to see the difference. Am being good at getting rid of all the rubbish.

Poor Patch hates it as he will not stay in that room so he is still sitting outside it looking sorry for himself, so keep having a break to sit with him (thats my excuse)

Sorting out

Started the garage room today, what a job, how did it get in such a mess. Well am plodding on with it but the dizzyness is a real problem today so am only doing it in half hour stints.
Have been out and purchased some cheap shelving. the sort used as shoe racks. Hopefully these will help me keep things in order. Am sorting through all the fabric in there and elsewhere. So far I have two big black bags of rubbish and a box of things to go to a charity shop.

I can't believe how bad the house has got over the past couple of months, everywhere is just messy. I must get motivated to get tidied up, but it is so difficult when am feeling so dizzy and sick all the time. The new pills from the doctor are not helping at all so can only do a little then have to sit down. Even typing this in bed, not like me at all. Anyway I have decided that as I managed a days work at the school I can surely get on and sort out some of my mess. Where to start that is the main problem, as there is so much to do it is very daunting.

I have just joined a craft group that I found by searching blogs of people with similar interests. What a wonderful group t is so friendly and talkative. I am sure that I shall enjoy making new friends with similar interests.

I thought it would be an idea if I had a place to showcase the crafts which I do, so have decided to keep the rest of this blog simply for my craft work. For the first posting I have decided to include pictures of some of the dolls I have made over the past year. This is an aspect of craft work which is very enjoyable for me and which I should like to extend.
